Note: Above trekking hours and distances are approximate, and absolutely for the general idea only.
At the highest point of Mera peak, we take time to appreciate panoramic views of the peaks of Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu, and take the obligatory summit shots before plunging down to High Camp, Base Camp and Khare. Through little settlements with refreshing teahouses and green rich scenery we come at last back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.
To attempt Mera peak climbing you must be physically fit, as we will be walking steeply upwards for 6-7 hours a day in a high-altitude landscape. You must also be familiar with the use of ice axes and crampons. March to June and October to December are the best seasons to climb Mera Peak. Take this trip for a personal meeting with mountains off the beaten track and experience trekking while immersed in a one of a kind culture.
