Overview
The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is one of the most scenic and rewarding treks in Nepal, offering an up-close view of the towering Annapurna Massif. This trek passes through lush forests, charming villages, terraced fields, and glacial moraines, leading to the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary (4,130m).
One of the highlights of this trek is Jhinu Danda, where you can relax in a natural hot spring after days of trekking.
Itinerary
Day 1 :
: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)
📍 Activity: Pickup by our representative, hotel check-in, and trip briefing
🛏 Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu
Day 2 :
Kathmandu to Pokhara (822m) – 7 hours drive
📍 Activity:
• Scenic tourist bus ride to Pokhara (~7 hrs)
• Enjoy stunning views of rivers, hills, and countryside
• Free evening to explore Phewa Lake & Lakeside
🛏 Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara
Day 3 :
Drive to Jhinu Danda/Matque (3 hrs), Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m) – 2 hrs
📍 Activity:
• Private Jeep drive to Jhinu Danda (or Matque)
• Start trek to Chhomrong, a beautiful Gurung village with breathtaking views of Annapurna South & Machapuchhre
🛏 Overnight: Teahouse in Chhomrong
Day 4 :
Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2,600m) – 5 hours
📍 Activity:
• Descend to Chhomrong Khola and ascend through forests of rhododendron & bamboo
• Pass Sinuwa and Bamboo before reaching Dovan
🛏 Overnight: Teahouse in Dovan
Day 5 :
Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3,200m) – 5 hours
📍 Activity:
• Enter higher alpine terrain with a dramatic shift in landscape
• Pass Himalaya & Hinku Cave before reaching Deurali
🛏 Overnight: Teahouse in Deurali
Day 6 :
Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m) – 5 hours
📍 Activity:
• Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) with stunning views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South
• Continue to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) – surrounded by the towering Annapurna Massif
🌄 Highlight: Sunset over Annapurna I (8,091m)
🛏 Overnight: Teahouse at ABC
Day 7 :
Trek from ABC to Bamboo (2,310m) – 5-6 hours
📍 Activity:
• Early sunrise view at ABC
• Descend past MBC, Deurali, and Dovan to Bamboo
🛏 Overnight: Teahouse in Bamboo
Day 8 :
Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,780m) – 5 hours

📍 Activity:
• Pass through Sinuwa & Chhomrong before descending to Jhinu Danda
• Relax at Natural Hot Springs near the Modi River
🛏 Overnight: Teahouse in Jhinu Danda
Day 9 :
Drive from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (3 hours)
Drive from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (3 hours)
📍 Activity:
• Short trek to Matque/Nayapul, then drive back to Pokhara
• Free evening to explore Lakeside & nightlife
🛏 Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara
Day 10 :
Pokhara to Kathmandu – 7 hours drive
📍 Activity:
• Scenic drive back to Kathmandu
• Evening Cultural Show Dinner

Final Departure
